First, we made our way up to these amazing Roman ruins, that used to be a theatre (was that my cup of tea, or what!) and it actually still functions as a theatre in the spring and summer with everything from Opera to Rock Concerts!
We ended up back at the Basilica, and this time we were able to walk down the other path and see some new sights of the city.
We weren't too intent on winning (although we did come in second!) and spent a lot of time investigating the areas we were in and taking lots of pictures. At the Museum of Fine Arts, there was a statue missing, so we decided to become the statue:
In the evening, the CEFAM administration took us out to a great 3 course meal! We had an incredible tomato and mozzarella salad, and the dean of the school gave us an introductory lesson in wine.
Some fun things we're looking forward to: French cooking lessons, cheese tasting, wine tasting, a CEFAM integration weekend at Ardeche.
I can make the pictures bigger if you want, just let me know. You can also enlarge them by clicking on them. Feel free to comment if you want me to talk about anything specific or have any questions :) Love and miss you all! I'll post tomorrow night about Annecy.
